Become a mentor campaign

CMF-2024
Mentorship Program

Creative Minds Foundation is committed to maintaining relationships with all its Alumni beyond the program, which is why a robust CMF Alumni Network will be created to keep CMF beneficiaries connected and engaged with the works of the Foundation. For example, if someone is struggling with time management and prioritization. A coaching mentor could work to identify specific challenges and set achievable goals for effective time management. Our mentorship program has 4 cohorts which are listed below.

Mmeli Hlanze

Mmeli Hlanze is a Chemical Engineer (University of the Witwatersrand) whose passion for entrepreneurship and love for music propelled him into the Arts & Culture industry as a cultural entrepreneur. Mmeli is co-founder and co-director of Antidote Music, an Eswatini-based digital music, entertainment and talent management start-up tailored to enable artists/musicians to monetise their talent through digital solutions. Mr Hlanze has served as an A&R and Talent Manager, Executive Producer and Cultural Project Manager for Antidote Music (2012 to date) as well as a Music Journalist for TRUE Africa (2015-2017), a new media-tech platform with all of the next thinking on culture, music, sports, lifestyle, politics, fashion and tech in Africa and the Diaspora.

In 2017, Antidote Music was acknowledged and Mmeli Hlanze was invited by the African Union Commission (AUC) and the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) as a panellist alongside fellow music professionals, creative/cultural industry experts and practitioners at the 2017 AFRIMA Calendar Unveiling and Conference, in Johannesburg, themed, “Enhancing The Creative Power Of The African Youth.”
